What is Occupational Therapy?
Occupational Therapy is a regulated health profession that requires a Master’s degree. OT’s are trained to promote participation and engagement of meaningful activities that give people’s lives purpose.
OT’s work in many different areas including:
Home and Communities (home care, mental health, clinics)
Institutions (hospitals, nursing homes, mental health centres)
Industry and Business (insurance companies, architectural firms, corporations)
Government (policy development, health promotion, programming)
